The L018 Gold Nugget Pleco (Baryancistrus xanthellus) is a striking, 7–10 inch freshwater catfish known for its velvety black body, vibrant yellow spots, and yellow-trimmed fins. Native to Brazil's rocky Xingu River, they require warm (77-86 deg F), well-oxygenated water, high flow, and a minimum 55-gallon tank. They are omnivores that need a varied diet of algae, biofilms, and sinking pellets.
